Hi Anne, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Lymphatic system specialist with massage license and 30 years experience, helping clients manage vascular, immune, and life cycle changes by resetting their nervous systems and regenerating their natural body flows. I custome build recovery programs, products, and systems for people who want to inhabit their lives more fully.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Personal struggles in which all my training came into play and saved the day. For instance, I trained as a doula at Seattle Midwifery school, worked with clients through complex recoveries from motor vehicle collisions, and mastered compression wrapping for lymphatic recovery and then was in a 50 ton collision while pregnant. Everything I knew and all my professional contacts were called into help me save the pregnancy and our lives. I also have the chronic vascular/immune system disorder called Lipedema, which I treat in my studio in Redmond, Washington. I help women and men of all walks of life to find peace with the processes of their bodies – to work with the body, not against it. it is truly fascinating and I really am honored to help people every day.
As you know, we’re big fans of Body Audit USA. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I am known for doing work with people which holds for them. There are many popular misconceptions about massage and one of them which is not true is that one must force the body into submission. I work with every tissue and flow in your body to detoxify, restore fluid movement, and rebalance the body.
What are your plans for the future?
I am working on productized services, Products. and consulting services in addition to studio services.
