Daily Inspiration: Meet Becky Carps

Today we’d like to introduce you to Becky Carps.

Hi Becky, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started All Hearts Inc on February 14, 2022 with a simple but heartfelt mission: to spread joy, love, and creativity through heart-themed products that make people smile. What began as an online gift shop grew out of my passion for meaningful and whimsical things — not just objects, but pieces that reflect personality and connection. From the very beginning, I wanted this brand to be a place where everyone can find something that resonates with their heart and their story.

Initially, we focused on selling unique heart-shaped jewelry, home decor, accessories, pet items, stationery, and more. As we grew, we expanded into community experiences like the Charm Bar — a creative space at local markets and events where customers can choose from over 1,000 charms to design personalized jewelry that truly expresses what’s in their heart.

From humble online beginnings to engaging with people in person at markets around Seattle, my goal has always been the same: to make the world feel a little more connected — one heart at a time.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
One of the biggest challenges has been unpredictable weather. Since All Hearts Inc. shows up at outdoor markets and community events, things like heavy rain, extreme heat, or sudden wind can directly impact turnout, setup, and even product displays. You can spend weeks preparing for an event, ordering inventory, promoting the event, prepping the Charm Bar, and then the weather shifts and attendance drops dramatically. That unpredictability can be tough, both financially and emotionally.

There’s also the physical side of the business. Setting up tents, protecting products from all the moisture of the pacific northwest weather, and keeping displays secure in wind all require extra planning while still maintaining a fun and welcoming experience for customers.

These challenges have taught me resilience and flexibility. I’ve learned how to prepare for the unpredictability, adapt setup and displays quickly, and focus on creating meaningful connections with whoever shows up, rain or shine. The weather may be unpredictable, but the heart behind the brand is consistent, and that is what keeps me going.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At All Hearts Inc., I specialize in selling heart-themed gifts, jewelry, and accessories designed to spread joy and help people express what’s meaningful to them. We’ve added the charm bar to our offerings which allows customers to choose from a wide variety of charms and design unique jewelry that reflects their personality, memories, and moments. The charm bar turns shopping into something creative and hands-on, which makes it more meaningful than simply purchasing a finished product. We’ve also transitioned the charm bar from an in person market exclusive to a special event pop up that people can book for their parties, weddings, birthdays, etc., which allows us to continue to bring joy and heart to more places.

I’m most proud my business celebrating its four-year anniversary. Reaching that milestone means so much because it represents my dedication and how much the Seattle community continues to show up to support us. Hitting four years feels like proof that the heart behind the brand truly resonates.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is the power of trusting your instincts and creating something from scratch. Everything you see at All Hearts Inc., from heart-shaped acrylic earrings to the Charm Bar experience, I built myself. I made it all up as I went along, experimenting, adapting, and figuring out what worked, and that’s allowed me to keep building the business.
