Inspiring Conversations with Cash Walcome of Aquor Water Systems

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cash Walcome.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started Aquor straight out of college alongside my co-founders. For the first four years, we worked out of a home office, trying to gain traction and grow the business while operating on a very lean budget.

In 2017, we raised an angel round from local investors, which helped us invest in growth and build momentum. Over the past 10 years, we’ve expanded our product lineup, added new sales channels, entered major retail, and grown the team to more than 20 employees.

Today, Aquor is profitable and continuing to grow. Looking back, I’m most proud of the team we’ve built and the fact that we’ve been able to steadily evolve the business year after year.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not the smoothest, but we’ve had amazing support along the way. Our team is incredibly gritty, and we’ve persevered through quite a bit over the past 10 years. We’ve navigated COVID, tariffs, supply chain disruptions, and plenty of other challenges that come with building a business.

What I’m most proud of is how the team has continued to push through and adapt. We’ve had to figure out a lot as we’ve gone, and every challenge has made us stronger and more resilient as a company.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Aquor designs and manufactures premium outdoor water products. We started with our hydrant system, which eliminates the traditional hose bibb and replaces it with a cleaner, more secure connection point for your home. Since then, we’ve expanded into a broader lineup of outdoor water and lawn & garden products.

What sets us apart is our focus on innovation and design. We don’t want to create products that are just slightly better than what’s already on the market. We look for ways to completely rethink how products function and improve the experience for homeowners.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud that we’ve been able to build a company that genuinely cares about creating great products and supporting its customers. We’ve grown from a small startup working out of a home office into a team of more than 20 people, and our products can now be found through major retailers, distributors, builders, and homeowners across North America.

What I’d want readers to know is that we’re still just getting started. Our vision is to become a category-defining brand in outdoor water, creating products that make spending time in your backyard easier, more enjoyable, and more connected to the outdoors.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
When you look at some of the most successful consumer product brands, they rarely succeed with just one product. They build families of products that share a common design language, quality standard, and user experience. I think we’ll see more of that in the outdoor water category over the next 5-10 years.

Historically, outdoor water products have been fairly fragmented and utility-focused. I believe the industry is moving toward more thoughtful design, better functionality, and complete ecosystems of products that work together seamlessly.

That’s the future we’re excited about at Aquor. We want to help define what that ecosystem looks like and continue pushing the category forward through innovation, reliability, and great user experience.
