Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
As a retired soldier, I understand firsthand the realities of military life and the constant transitions that come with serving wherever you are needed most. Throughout my years in the military, one challenge remained consistent no matter the duty station — finding affordable housing, whether temporary or permanent, during relocation.
Shortly after arriving in Colorado Springs, I discovered that service members could not apply for government housing until they physically arrived at their assigned duty station. This created a difficult and stressful situation for many military families: arrive at a new location, join a waiting list for government housing, and then wait an unknown amount of time for something to become available. In the meantime, families were often forced to spend large amounts of money on application fees, deposits, hotels, or short-term rentals just to secure a place to stay within the local community.
I quickly realized this was a problem that could be avoided.
That realization inspired me to create a system designed to help military families secure temporary — and potentially permanent — housing before they even arrive at their new assignment. The concept is simple but impactful: provide clean, affordable, move-in-ready housing options that give families stability during uncertain times.
Many people assume temporary housing already exists everywhere, but the real question is: Are there truly affordable, move-in-ready places where military families can stay for one, two, or even three months without financial strain? In many cases, the answer is no.
My goal is to bridge that gap by creating housing solutions that reduce stress, eliminate unnecessary financial burdens, and provide military families with peace of mind during transition periods. After years of serving our country, I believe our service members and their families deserve better support when it comes to one of life’s most basic needs — a safe and affordable place to call home.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Has it been a smooth road? Absolutely not. In fact, it has been one of the most challenging journeys of my life. There were moments that pushed me beyond what I thought I was capable of and forced me to grow in ways I never expected.
In the beginning, I had to learn the basics from the ground up — even understanding what an LLC was and how to make it work for me. I spent countless hours reading books, researching, and learning from what I like to call today’s most accessible teacher: YouTube. Through persistence, prayer, and the unwavering support of my wife, we were eventually able to secure a reliable property manager, which lifted a tremendous amount of stress off our shoulders.
But beyond business, the greatest challenge was balancing everything while keeping my children focused and maintaining my walk with God. My faith became my foundation. It kept me grounded, focused, and strong enough to provide stability for my family during the many transitions and relocations we experienced throughout military life.
As parents, we constantly carry the responsibility of creating a stable and loving environment for our children, even when life feels uncertain around us. That pressure can sometimes feel overwhelming. Yet, I’ve learned that every challenge we overcome builds resilience, strength, and character. Those difficult moments taught us how to adapt, persevere, and continue moving forward — even in the most demanding seasons of life.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned throughout this journey is the value of hard work, faith, and perseverance. First and foremost, I thank God for guiding me every step of the way. Growing up, my parents always told me, “You get out of life what you put into it.” That lesson stayed with me and became a foundation for how I approach life every single day.
To me, that means anything worth having is worth working for. Success doesn’t happen overnight, and nothing meaningful comes without effort, sacrifice, and consistency. From sunrise to sunset, I try to live by that principle. I also understand that my children are always watching — not just listening to what I say, but paying attention to how I live, how I work, and how I respond to challenges. That alone motivates me to keep pushing forward.
I still have many goals I want to accomplish and ideas I want to bring to life, and honestly, I don’t know if I’ll ever truly slow down. My hope is that through my journey, my children and the people around me learn the importance of putting in the work, staying disciplined, and believing in themselves enough to pursue their goals wholeheartedly.
The second lesson I’ve learned is to have faith, especially during difficult times. There were many moments when I felt overwhelmed, uncertain, and tested in ways I never expected. But through every obstacle, my faith carried me. There were situations that only God could have worked out, and time after time, He made a way. Those experiences strengthened not only my faith, but also my understanding that perseverance and trust go hand in hand.
