Hi Samantha, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’ve been an artist for as long as I can remember. Creating has always been my way of understanding the world and expressing what words often can’t. While art was a constant in my life, it wasn’t until 2020 that I took a true leap of faith and began sharing my work publicly.
From that moment on, my artistic journey unfolded organically. I allowed intuition, life experience, and personal transformation to guide my practice rather than chasing trends or outcomes. Over time, my work evolved into contemporary visionary art: blending symbolism, texture, geometry, and energetic storytelling.
Today, my art reflects both inner landscapes and universal themes of healing, growth, and remembrance. Each piece is an extension of lived experience, created with intention and trust in the creative process.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Like most meaningful creative paths, it hasn’t been a completely smooth road – but it has been a deeply rewarding one. One of the greatest challenges along the way has been learning to truly know my worth as a contemporary artist. Early on, I said yes to opportunities that offered exposure but not always alignment, sustainability, or respect for the value of my work.
Over time, I’ve learned that discernment is just as important as creativity. Learning to say “no, thank you” has been a powerful part of my evolution—allowing me to protect my energy, honor my values, and create from a place of integrity rather than urgency. That clarity has strengthened both my practice and my confidence, and it continues to shape a more grounded, aligned, and fulfilling artistic journey.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My work sits at the intersection of contemporary art and energy work. I translate the unseen—emotion, energy, and subtle body awareness—into visual language through symbolism, texture, and color. Each piece is intuitive and experiential, created as both an artwork and a form of energetic storytelling.
I specialize in intuitive mixed media and watercolor, and I’m particularly known for coining Watercolor Aura Portraits: a unique offering that blends energy reading with live painting. During these sessions, I intuitively read a person’s energetic field and translate their aura into watercolor on paper, creating a piece that reflects their current state, essence, and emotional landscape.
What I’m most proud of is the way my work creates meaningful connection. Whether through a finished piece, a live painting experience, or an aura portrait, my art invites people to feel seen, grounded, and reflected. What sets me apart is my ability to bridge fine art with intuitive practice – creating work that is not only visually compelling, but deeply personal, reverent, and alive.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
As the quote often attributed to Seneca says, “Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.” That perspective has guided both my life and my business.
Any moments that may look like “good luck” from the outside are usually the result of years of quiet work—developing my craft, deepening my self-trust, and being willing to say yes when the timing felt aligned. At the same time, I’ve learned that challenges and perceived setbacks have often redirected me toward opportunities that were more sustainable and true to my values.
Rather than relying on luck, I focus on being prepared—creatively, energetically, and professionally—so that when the right doors open, I’m ready to walk through them with clarity and intention.
