Hi Blessing, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My name is Blessing B. I am from Liberia west, Africa. Adopted at age three.grew up in Washington. I am a model, influencer, event curator, and fashion designer. Official started my creative journey in 2020. Since then it’s been a ride. Both heart filled and pain. Lost some and gain. Today still create and model. Learning to take the journey one day at a time!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
yes and no. Great memories and heartache ones. My biggest struggle is making money with my crafts. Modeling takes time, contest and building a brand takes time. I also struggle from mental health. Been in and out of her therapy my whole life. Even so, I am grateful for the lessons learned. Still, growing and taking the L’s.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
well I am a normal women. I work a normal 9-5. But I am ready to move up I in life. Want to have my own fashion brand and build an online community. While making money. Of course things take time and I try to understand that.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Having a winner mindset is the first one. Second, keep moving forwards. And third, keeping my faith. I am a Christian woman. Although, I’m not perfect. I always want to keep God at the center. His words says “he will never leave more forsaken me,” so I have everything I need for life. Trusting and believing I will make it!
